Google Maps and Spying

I have a statement to make. I use Google maps and the roadmap images to see what houses and areas look like. I also believe that certain members of my family use the same facility to effectively spy on me. The reason that I believe this is that until recently a member of this branch of the family sent occasional correspondence by post to us. However, recently Google has updated their images in this area, they are now showing images taken either in 2012 or 2013 and not 2008 or 2009 as was previously there. Funnily enough there is a vehicle on the driveway at the front of the house. It is not ours, and even somebody who knew us could tell that because the vehicle is not one that we would have, it just would not be one that we would have. The fact is I know whose vehicle it is and can therefore tell on which day of the week this picture was taken, even though I cannot tell on what date it was taken. Therefore, we are not receiving correspondence from this branch of the family (we do not get along anyway and statements to stop correspondence were made a long time ago), but I think that they have seen this new image and from it decided that we have moved. Sounds good to me.

The wider context is more of the same if you think of it. It is just that the images are irregular. If Google did this every x months and at different times then you could get some inkling of who lives where, and if the number plates of vehicles were clear, and to certain authorities this would be quite possible, then following a repetitive part of behaviour which humans follow would be possible. It is just another Prism. Oh and by the way, if you think that the US operation regarding telephone records and their investigation was unique, think again. There are rooms for such purposes everywhere and people know about it.

Conservative Cutbacks

Well those boys in blue are putting on a show regarding their electability but beware because the reality is that where they are in power at a local level, their methodology for cutting back is pretty indiscriminate and will affect the delivery and performance of services. It is quite funny though that they are calling themselves the New Conservatives trying to copy the New Labour PR of 1997. I am not going to be convinced by all this and although Germany has decided to finish the SDP/Christian Democrats "alliance" in their recent elections, I am almost hoping that the next general election requires a coalition of at least the three main parties of Labour, LD and possibly Conservatives to bring out the best and hopefully not the worse.
